I love this cookbook. I am not sure what others mean when they complain about the lack of photos, but I honestly think the book is filled with beautiful tempting photos of finished recipes. This book is a departure from Rachel Ray's usual cookbook, but it is a well thought out and creative work that will (I think) become a kitchen classic. I cant wait to try Grandpa's chicken stew or the many, many other recipes that fill the volume. I'm looking forward to serving lots of delicious Rachel Ray Italian Sunday dinners to my family and friends.

So, right now I am laid up post-surgery. But this has made for great reading material and inspiration to get well soon. I can not wait to get up and cooking so many of these wonderful recipes. Rachael's antidotes about her family were wonderful to read. Way to go John on the drinks department.

I can't say enough great things about Rachel Ray's influence on me, when it comes to making my every day dishes extra special or gourmet - I just love her recipes, and my family does too! I love it anytime I can purchase one of her books! Thanks, Rach!

Some people do not consider Rachael Ray a great chef--or even a chef.Regardless, she is a terrific cook and brings wonderful everyday-able recipes to everyone.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift so I didn't really look at it too closely. However, the recipient really seems to love it, so five stars it is.

I love this book. The only thing I don't like, it weighs about 15 lbs. It's so heavy for me to carry. I'm a little sorry I should have read the fine print. Rachael uses a lot of ingredients I rarely have, so I buy them use what I need and the rest goes to waste.

My Italian son-in-law loves his pasta and his Irish wife uses sauce from a jar. Thought this cookbook would be a good match for them both. It is. Yummo!

Perfect for those who don't know the first thing about the rosary. Lays out every prayer, in the right number, and even gives information on the mysteries so you can meditate on them. I love that it's on my phone so I have no excuse not to use it.

I really like this little book. My one problem with it was the art work. So, I printed out new pictures for each of the mysteries and taped them over the pictures in the book. Now, it is perfect for me. I keep it with my rosary and when I am saying the rosary it helps me stay on track and not drift off into other thoughts.

This is a great little book to have on kindle. Praying the Rosary changed my life... I have received so many graces! This contains pictures and some extra prayers, such as the Litany to Our Lady of Loreto that are very helpful. The additional information about the Rosary is interesting too. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to pray the Rosary "on the go" such as when commuting or waiting or whenever you have your kindle with you. Praying the Rosary is ALWAYS a beneficial thing to do and this little book is very helpful.

As a fairly recent convert, this was a wonderful in depth look at praying the Rosary. It also told of the beautiful history of the Rosary; some of which I was not aware of. I loved all the Scripture references and thoughts for each mystery and will be incorporating them into my own personal prayer time as well as our family Rosary time. The additional prayers and references were a delightful bonus.

Here is the Rosary in all its beauty. The steps for saying the Rosary are laid out perfectly, with each prayer of the Rosary stated the correct number of times, all the way through the stations. Life changing book. Our son did two tours in the desert, this book helped all of us get through those rough times, and we prayed these prayers (Psalms 91) over our son and all the troops around him. Just one example was that my son's convey was hit by a road side bomb "dirty bomb" pieces of metal destroyed the 1st vehicle and ripped through his vehicle, yet not one person was hurt, that is the power of praying Psalms 91. We have a lot of other examples of God's protection of our son and his fellow troops during his tours in the desert. This is also a daily prayer that we continue to pray over all of our family. This book explains how we need to trust the Lord and pray to him for protection on all fronts. Hey it works, we are living proof.

Psalm 91 is a covenant invitation by God offered to all believers to enter into. It offers protection from the storms of life. Like virtually all of God's promises to believers, this psalm has conditional promises. Faith in the Word of God in the promises of this psalm is what activates the covenant of protection. Walking in obedience to His Word is what keeps the covenant valid. Speaking the words of the psalm out loud every day is what the author recommends.The book is divided into two parts, the explanation of the psalm verses, and then multiple first-person accounts on how reciting and trusting Psalm 91 changed lives and showed how God Almighty delivers according to his promises in this psalm. For example, one story shows how a man used Psalm 91 to ward off a tornado that was headed directly for his home. He and his family recited Pslam 91 against the storm as it was approaching, and the tornado lifted and passed over his home. Great breakdown and explanation, verse by verse. What I love about this version is the personal testimonies in the second half. But any of these as far as going through Psalm 91, is such a blessing! The author does an excellent job of providing breaking down this Psalm 91. I learned so much and found this book to be one that I have shared with a number of people.When going through difficulties, tough times, when the adversary is attacking from all sides!, to those who are sick/in hospital, when in bondage,whenever, Psalms 91 should be in your heart and mind. Wow...I just started reading this & it's not exactly what I expected. It's so well written. These true stories have left me almost speechless, which is pretty rare. Not many things do that. Some of it is pretty graphic. So far, highly recommend. The author is the wife of a pastor so this is very religious but a lot of the people (sailors, soldiers, etc) in these stories probably were not.

If I could possibly give this book more than 5 stars I would. I have purchased numerous books to give away to others it is that good!There is also a workbook that can be ordered separately.

Peggy Joyce is a personal friend. She is the real deal. Her books are excellent and she has a way of clearly making this chapter of the Bible not only understandable but applicable to everyone's daily life and especially those in harm's way. I highly recommend checking the website or Amazon for other editions produced to target Military, teens, young children, mothers and other language speakers.

If you are only going to purchase one book this month, I recommend this one. This book is a keeper and the kind of book you give away as a gift. I had been praying Psalm 91 off and on for years already, but this book breaks down the meaning, and has a multitude of testimonies of lives spared by believers praying Psalm 91. For anyone who may have never given a second thought to general preparedness, this is a fantastic introduction to the world of possible needs one should always be ready for. Lovely paperback with nice color pictures for demonstrative purposes, simple yet not condescending. I highly recommend this book for city dwellers, college age persons who are on their own for the first time, retirees trapped in neighborhoods of declining quality and aging infrastructure, young adults who are coming of age and need some choice lessons in thinking ahead, or anyone who wants to dive into the subject but didn't know where to begin.

… but not really what I was looking for. I was hoping for ways to use duct tape and paracord.
